Love Songs Throughout the Decades

Music can be a love language, a way to share your heart with others. An even better way to do that is through love songs. Songs about romance and heartbreak have been around for generations, giving people an outlet to cling to, to feel understood. We put together some of the biggest love songs of the decades to jam. Even if you’re single, this list has some feel-good songs to lift your spirits. While there are thousands of love songs to choose from, we narrowed it down to five per decade. While 2020s have just begun, there were still a couple love songs we wanted to shout out that have been released in 2020!

  • Bigger Love – John Legend. The music video is so uplifting and tries to put a positive spin on the isolation people faced in 2020.



  • Stuck with U – Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. Much like the John Legend song, it includes clips of fans in quarantine. It’s a sweet love song about being stuck in lockdown together.
